Greetings from Ft. Collins, Colorado. like what you are trying to do. A local company that would fit all your criteria is New Belgium Brewing. Sustainable, fun, beer, and a bike theme (their main brand is Fat Tire). In my view, very good marketers… check them out.
I assume you know about Patagonia… and Chouinard’s book (a free excerpt is available at Outside Magazine, October 2005).
